Track & Field Set for Final Conference Tuneup

DENTON - The UNT track and field program will head to Lubbock this weekend to take on the field at the Jarvis Scott Invite in one final tuneup before the American Conference Indoor Championship in two weeks.
The Mean Green will take a large group of competitors to the two-day meet at Texas Tech and will get a good idea of where they stand heading into the conference championship.
"We are looking forward to the regular season finale this weekend at Texas Tech," director of track and field Doug Marshall said. "Their meets are always competitive so it will be a good test going into conference in two weeks. I'm excited. It should be another great opportunity to execute at a higher level this weekend."
