Mean Green Set For Home Meet

DENTON — The UNT track and field program is set to host its annual home meet, the Bill Schmidt Invite this weekend, with the meet set to begin Friday at noon at Norma Knobel Hunt Stadium and conclude on Saturday.
The Mean Green will welcome 12 collegiate teams to town, as well as several track clubs and unattached athletes, as they will honor 22 seniors on Senior Day with a ceremony set for Saturday at 11:30 a.m., before running finals begin.

"We're excited for this weekend to honor our seniors and put some solid performances up."
LAST TIME OUT
The Mean Green had a successful showing at Texas A&M's 44 Farms Invitational in College Station last weekend, including a pair of individual champions, as freshman Aubrey Milam won the 5,000 meters in her first time running the event in college, and sophomore Oluwatimilehim Williams won the discus.
