Track & Field Heading to Waco for Baylor Meet

DENTON — The UNT track and field program is set for the Michael Johnson Invitational this weekend in Waco, with the meet set to begin Friday at 11 a.m., and conclude Saturday evening.
The Mean Green are ramping up to the American Outdoor Championships, as they will have this meet followed by a meet at SMU left to tune up for the conference meet, which will be hosted by UNT at Norma Knobel Stadium in Denton.
COACH MARSHALL SAYS
"It will be an exciting weekend heading to Baylor for the Michael Johnson Invitational. This has always been one of my favorite meets to compete in. We are looking forward to continuing the momentum from last weekend and competing on a high level."
LAST TIME OUT
The Mean Green won 23 events at their home meet, the Bill Schmidt Invite, in cool and rainy conditions, as they honored their 23-member senior class.
