DALLAS — UNT women's golf upperclassmen Malisone Chanthapanya and Bouquet Subsomboon both earned American Conference All-Conference honors, announced by the league Monday.
The duo are two of the top four highest ranked women's golfers in the American Conference. Chanthapanya, a senior, is the third highest ranked golfer in the league while Subsomboon is the fourth.
In nine events this year, Chanthapanya had two runner-up finishes and four top 10 finishes including a seventh-place finish at the 2026 American Conference Women's Golf Championship last week. On Oct. 20, Chanthapanya broke the program record for the lowest 18-hole single round score with a 64 in the third round of the 2025 Jim West Challenge.
This is her second consecutive American Conference All-Conference honor. The Fort Worth native transferred to North Texas in 2024 from Texas Wesleyan where she was a two-time NAIA All-American.
This is also Subsomboon's second consecutive all-conference honor. The junior had two top three finishes this season including a win at the Houston Christian dual on Jan. 18 where she shot a five-under. She shot a season-best 10-under at the Sam Golden Invitational where she finished in second-place out of 72 golfers. A reliable steady force on the Mean Green team, Subsomboon this season had six rounds with a score of 70 or lower.
