Kickoff Times and Television Designations Set for Seven 2026 UNT Football Contests

DENTON, Texas – The UNT football program led by first-year head coach Neal Brown has announced start times and TV designations for seven of the 12 games in the 2026 season.

One year after setting a program record with 10 games on linear networks, the Mean Green will be featured on national television for at least six games in 2026 with games on ESPN, FOX, ESPN2, ESPNU, CBS Sports Network and USA Network.

North Texas will open the season on the road against the defending National Champion Indiana on Sept. 5 at 11:00 AM CT / 12:00 PM ET on FOX. It is the first time in program history UNT will be featured on the national network.

In week two, the Mean Green will play at DATCU Stadium for the first time as they are set to host UNLV Sept. 12 at 2:45 PM CT on ESPNU. North Texas will follow it up with a trip Sept. 19 to San Marcos, Texas, to face off against Texas State on at 11:00 AM CT on USA Network.

UNT will then close out the non-conference slate with a home game against Houston Christian at 6:30 PM CT on ESPN+ on Sept. 26.

The Mean Green have also announced times for its two Thursday games of the season. On Oct. 1, North Texas will travel take on against Tulsa at 8:00 PM CT on ESPN and face off against Florida Atlantic on Oct. 29 at 6:30 PM CT either on ESPN or ESPN2.

In addition, UNT will face off with Navy on Oct. 24 on CBS Sports Network at 2:30 PM CT / 3:30 PM ET in Annapolis, Maryland.

Kickoff times and TV designations for the other five games on the 2026 schedule for UNT will be announced in the 12-day window designated by ESPN.

Season tickets for UNT Football in 2026 are available now. Returning season ticket patrons can renew their current seat locations for all home games. If you would like to renew your 2026 season tickets, you can do so today by logging into your UNT ticket account.

New season tickets are also available to the public for as little as $80.

Multiple payment plan options are available for new season-ticket purchases and renewals. Various parking options and chair backs are also available as additions.

Season ticket prices for 2026 for the family zone sections has increased by $20 to a total of $100 while prices in the reserved endzone and general admission sections will remain the same as the previous season, providing a fan-friendly pricing option.

Season ticket holders receive additional benefits including guaranteed seat locations for a potential conference championship game, VIP presale opportunities for away games, bowl games and other events hosted at the stadium.

Season ticket members also receive discounts on additional single-game tickets, the opportunity to resell unused tickets via SeatGeek and access to the Kick Time Guarantee program.
