
Mean Green Football: Return to Full Capacity
North Texas Athletics has announced, after careful consideration of federal, state and university guidelines, that all UNT sporting events will return to full capacity beginning in the fall 2021 semester. In order to ensure that Mean Green fans can best enjoy the return of the full game day experience, please refer to this page for all of the most up-to-date information regarding health and safety, ticketing, tailgating, parking and concessions at Apogee stadium.

In order to reduce the risk of ticket fraud and loss, as well as to speed up the entry process, all Mean Green football tickets are distributed digitally. Fans will be be able to access all of their tickets through their personal account on meangreentickets.com.
To access your account, view your tickets or purchase tickets:
- View your tickets:
- Step 1: Visit www.meangreentickets.com on your smartphone.
- Step 2: Log in using your account number/email and password.
- If you have tickets, you already have an account. Please do not create a new account when accessing your tickets.
- If you cannot remember your password, click on "Forgot Password" to have a temporary one emailed to you.
- If it is your first time signing into your ticket account online, click "Link Your Account" to link your existing account with your PIN number. If you need that information, please call the ticket office at 940-565-2527.
- Transfer or add tickets to your phone:
- After logging in, the first screen you should see has all of your available tickets and parking for the season.
- Select the event that you are looking to add to your phone or transfer to a friend.
- If you are adding to your phone, tap "Add to Apple or Google Pay Wallet."
- If you are transferring to a friend, select the "Transfer" option and enter your friend's cell phone number or email address.

- Buy available tickets to North Texas athletic events:
- Tap the menu drop-down and choose "Buy Tickets" to purchase.
- Update your account information:
- Tap the menu drop-down and select "View Account & Settings," then select "Account Settings" and choose the portion of your account that you would like to edit.

The full tailgating experience returns to Apogee Stadium in 2021, including activities on The Hill, spot reservations and package rentals through 5 Star Rentals. Students wishing to reserve space for tailgating can do so by contacting Cecilee Fannon at cecileefannon@my.unt.edu.
How you tailgate depends on the ability to act responsibly and adhere to the following guidelines which are reviewed and approved annually by North Texas Athletics, the UNT Office of Risk Management, and the University of North Texas Police Department. These guidelines have been developed to ensure a family-friendly, safe and enjoyable experience that promotes integrity, civility, ethical conduct, and good sportsmanship among fans, students, and visitors..
North Texas Athletics has partnered with 5 Star Rental to outfit your tailgate party with rental packages that include a tent, banquet tables and chairs. Prices are based on the options selected. Tailgating packages can be purchased by phone at (940) 369-8409 or by emailing UNT@5StarRental.com.

Student Tailgating on The Hill
- Student organizations must coordinate with UNT Athletics Marketing Department to obtain their tailgate spot no later than 48 hours before the day of the game. To reserve your spot, please email Cecilee Fannon at cecileefannon@my.unt.edu.
- Purple Lot passes can be picked up Monday-Thursday between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at the ticket office located at Gate 2. Access to the Purple Lot is only available to those with a valid Purple Lot pass.
- Tailgate spots can be set up the day before the home game from 2 p.m.-6 p.m.
- If you will be using your own music and/or DJ, speakers must be pointed AWAY FROM the Circle Drive and noise must be kept within reason.
- Official tailgating activities on The Hill begin three hours before and end 20 minutes prior to kickoff.
- Overnight occupancy and/or camping is not permitted.
Tailgating Regulations
- Tailgating may not occupy empty parking spaces or inhibit traffic flow.
- Tents and canopies are allowed as long as they do not impede foot or vehicle traffic or extend into additional parking spaces.
- Responsible and lawful consumption of alcohol is permitted within University rules and protocols. Police patrol the tailgating areas and enforce applicable laws.
- Glass containers and kegs are NOT permitted.
- Commercially-sponsored tailgates are prohibited except in designated locations.
- Tailgating locations are available on a first-come, first-served basis on in accordance with other stipulations contained in these guidelines.
- Saving spaces for other vehicles is prohibited.

Apogee Stadium has a variety of parking options, including individual day-of-game parking in multiple lots.
Season ticket holders will receive physical parking permits for each home game. Fans are encouraged to pick these permits up at the August 14 kickoff event at Apogee Stadium, but those unable to attend will receive their permits in the mail.
Fans who are not purchasing season tickets must purchase parking online though meangreentickets.com or ParkMobile.

- Day-of-game parking can also be purchased on game day at the entrance to available lots via credit card or cash
Online and Parkmobile sales for the Blue and Orange lots can be purchased until 11 p.m. the day before each game.

Bus Transfer Station

Located in the Orange Lot (the former Fouts Field lot), the new Bus Transfer Station is the site of the ADA shuttle running between the ADA Lot and Apogee Stadium and dropoff for DCTA's Mean Green Gameday Shuttle. ADA shuttle service is also available from the Blue lots.
Orange lot shuttles drop off at Gate 2 of Apogee Stadium. Blue lot ADA shuttles drop off at Gate 1.

Health and safety for fans, students and student-athletes remains a primary focus of North Texas Athletics.
Face coverings are no longer required on the University of North Texas campus or at Mean Green sporting events. Fans who feel more comfortable wearing face coverings are still encouraged to do so at their discretion.
Hand sanitizing stations will still be available throughout Apogee stadium.
In order to ensure the best possible atmosphere for all fans, North Texas Athletics also asks fans to respect the space and health decisions of other parties.
Fans are asked to use their best judgement on attending events if feeling unwell.
Mean Green Concessions will be expanding available menu options from the 2020 season. Outside vendors, including Fletcher's Corny Dogs and Rudy's BBQ, will also be returning to Apogee Stadium in 2021.
After a successful introduction in 2020, mobile ordering through FanFood will also be returning for the upcoming season. This partnership offers a contactless ordering option for fans and provides a more convenient option for patrons, while increasing the efficiency of the Mean Green Concessions staff.
