Ryan Pollard joined the UNT Football staff in June 2022. He serves as a graduate assistant on defense.

Pollard worked with the defensive backs during the 2022 season. He helped the Mean Green reach the 2022 Conference USA Championship game and earn a trip to the Frisco Bowl. Three UNT defensive backs earned All-Conference USA honors.

From 2016-21, Pollard was on staff at his alma mater Arlington Martin High School where he worked with the corners.

A native of Arlington, Pollard was a three-year letterwinner at Rice. He graduated with two degrees in 2016.
