• Was second on the team in tackles with 78 (41 solo), with one sack, 5.5 tackles for loss and two pass break-ups in 13 starts at middle linebacker
• Recorded eight tackles (five solo) on 12/27 vs. Army in the Zaxby's Heart of Dallas Bowl
• Posted four tackles with a tackle for loss at UTEP on 11/26
• Made six stops, one for a loss, on 11/19 in a win vs. Southern Miss
• Had seven tackles (three solo) at WKU on 11/12
• Recorded one stop on 11/5 vs. La Tech

• Played in all 12 games, totaling 42 tackles, including 20 solo, with 1.0 tackles for loss, one pass break-up, one pass defended and one quarterback hurry
• Also forced a fumble and recovered two
• Recorded his first career tackle for loss and sack against Portland State
• Totaled a career-high six tackles with a pass break-up at Tennessee
• Tied his career high with six tackles and also forced a fumble and returned a fumble recovery 13 yards for a touchdown in the regular-season finale against UTEP
Junior College:
• Was named the 2014 Defensive Player of the Year Thursday by the National Junior College Athletic Association.
• Was a NJCAA First Team All-American and the Southwest Junior College Football Conference Defensive Most Valuable Player
• The sophomore led the team with 104 tackles, ranking 12th in the nation
• Recorded a team-high 12 tackles for loss to go along with three sacks on the season
• Proved to be opportunistic as well, with four fumble recoveries, tying for the most in the country
• During a three-game stretch midway through the season, Finney tallied a fumble recovery in each victory
• His top effort came in the Cardinals’ 55-35 win over Kilgore in the SWJCFC semifinals, when he racked up nine tackles, a sack and an interception
• In a 27-24 victory against Coffeyville in the Heart of Texas Bowl, Finney made seven tackles and broke up a pass
