Was named to the Sun Belt All-Conference second team ... Chambers started all 11 games and is considered one of the best zone blockers on the team ... A finesse-type blocker, he improved as the season progressed ... Tied teammate Andy Brewster as the team’s top blocker in a game against Louisiana-Lafayette with a grade of 90 ... Helped running back Jamario Thomas rush for a school record 1,709 yards and set several NCAA records, including the fastest freshman to 1,000 yards and the number of 200 yard games as a freshman ...
