2002
Earned his third letter in as many years after playing in all 13 games and recording 22 tackles... His only quarterback sack came in the win against New Mexico State... Also forced two fumbles for the Mean Green.
2001
Conder played a valuable role on the defensive line, providing needed depth and experience while playing in all 12 games... He registered 15 tackles, including four tackles for a loss... Had a season-high five tackles against Oklahoma... Conder also forced and recovered one fumble and had one quarterback sack.
2000
Made the move from offensive to defensive line during two-a-day practices and had an outstanding season, registering 30 tackles, four for loss and a quarterback sack. He made two starts against UNLV and Kansas State. He finished third among defensive lineman in tackles. Luke also registered five quarterback pressures and broke up one pass. He had a career-high eight tackles against Idaho, including one for loss. He had six tackles including one for loss against nationally ranked Kansas State, four against UL Lafayette and three against Texas Tech, Samford and Boise State. His quarterback sack came against Texas Tech in the fourth quarter on Tech’s ensuing drive after a North Texas touchdown had just cut the lead to 13-7.

Conder was a three-year letterwinner for Coach David Browning at Midland High School. He started at tight end and center his senior season and was a second team all-district 4-5A and first team all-Permian Basin pick as Midland finished 5-5 in one of the state’s toughest districts. He had eight catches for 104 yards and one touchdown in three games at tight end and was nominated to play in the Texas-California All-Star Game. His brother Nick walked on to the team last spring. Luke is the son of John and Mary Conder and Roma Gray and was born January 17, 1981 in Midland, Texas.
