Raj Murti was named the General Manager for the UNT football program in April of 2025. He oversees all aspects of the UNT roster, recruiting and personnel departments.
Murti joined the Mean Green after spending the 2024 season working at TCU in Fort Worth. He first served as the recruiting coordinator from March to December before being elevated to the Assistant Director of Player Personnel in January of 2025.
Murti served as the primary point of contact for all prospects, their families and high school coaches in his time in Fort Worth. He helped the 2025 recruiting class at TCU rank as the No. 1 recruiting class in the Big 12 by all major services (On3, 247, Rivals) and was ranked as high as the No. 24 class in the country according to 247Sports.
In his one season with TCU, the Horned Frogs posted a 9-4 overall record and earned a trip to the New Mexico Bowl where they defeated Louisiana to pick up their ninth victory of the season.
Prior to time time at TCU, Murti worked with the football program at his alma mater, Houston from 2019 to 2024.
In his five seasons with the Cougars, Murti quickly rose through the ranks, first serving as a Recruiting Intern before being elevated to Program Assistant in May of 2021 and was promoted once again in February of 2023 to the Assistant Director of Player Personnel on the offensive side of the ball.
By the end of his tenure with the Cougars, Murti became the primary contact and evaluator of all high school, junior college and transfer portal offensive recruits for the Cougars. Houston would sign four of the top-10 recruits in UH football history in his last three seasons with the Cougars.
On the field, Murti was a part of three bowl appearances with the Cougars, including the 2021 season that saw Houston post a 12-2 overall record, earn a trip to The American Championship game and finish ranked No. 17 in the final AP poll.
Murti graduated from Houston in 2021 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in Finance.
