• Earned first-team All-District 21-5A honors for coach Chris Massey as a senior.
• Helped the Deers to three consecutive playoff appearances including a second-round area showing in 2012.
• Named Defensive MVP in the NUC All-American All-Star Game in Myrtle Beach, S.C. on December 28, 2012 where he forced a fumble that led to a score, then intercepted a pass at the 10-yard line and during the return lateralled it to a teammate for a touchdown.
