The 2025 season, Amos' third on staff, saw three of his hurdlers qualify for the NCAA West Preliminary Round in Hendrick Hundl, Clarence McGill and Morgan Taylor. All three being transfers into North Texas, his coaching guided each of them to new heights in their times and results. In just his second year on staff, he coached Chinazaekpere Okoye to an American Athletic Conference title in the women's 400-meter hurdles.
