Edwards was brought on board by head coach Michael Akers in January 2022 after a successful collegiate career at New Mexico and time spent playing professionally on the Women's All-Pro Tour, where she has notched four top-15 showings including a second-place finish at the 2019 WAPT Riverbend Classic. She also has caddied for several friends playing on the Symetra Tour. Edwards graduated Summa Cum Laude with a nutrition degree from New Mexico in 2019 after lettering four years and earning a full scholarship after starting her career as a walk-on. She won the 2018 Arkansas Women's Amateur, and her best finish in a college event was a T13 at the 2019 PING/ASU Invitational. Edwards was named a WGCA All-American Scholar for the 2018-19 season.
Edwards hails from Texarkana, Texas, where she played high school golf at Texas High and led her team to three state tournament appearances. She finished in the top 10 at the state tournament as a senior in 2015. She was also named to the all-state team in 2014 and 2015.
