Ty Jenkins

Ty Jenkins joined the UNT volleyball staff in 2022 after numerous years of experience in the collegiate and club coaching ranks.
His coaching career began as an assistant for Maryville University in St. Louis in 1995. During his two seasons with the Lady Saints, Jenkins helped build the team that made a conference finals appearance in 1996.
Jenkins was the first assistant at Park University from 1997 to 2000 before moving on to Middle Tennessee, where he had his longest and most successful collegiate stint. From 2004 to 2009, he helped build the Blue Raiders into a perennial powerhouse, clinching NCAA Tournament bids four consecutive seasons including a Sweet 16 appearance in 2007. While in Murfreesboro, he coached nine AVCA All-Americans and 14 all-conference players.
He is the co-founder, co-owner and co-director of Untouchables Elite Performance Academy Volleyball Club in Plano, Texas. Jenkins has also held positions at clubs across the country in which he led multiple teams to national championship bids and assisted in the development of Division I athletes.
Jenkins was an All-American setter for Graceland University from 1989 to 1992.
