Denecia Henry began at North Texas in October 2021. She serves as the Assistant Director of Student Services, where she provides direct oversight for academic support for Women’s Basketball, Women’s Tennis, Women’s Golf, and Track & Field monitoring eligibility requirements and advising student-athletes in pursuit of graduation requirements.

Prior to UNT, Henry earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Marketing from Louisiana Tech University in May 2018 and a Masters of Science in Sports Administration from Grambling State University in December 2019. While at Louisiana Tech, Henry served as an intern for Student-Athlete Success Services, before completing a Graduate Assistantship in Compliance & Academic Services at Grambling State. Henry also has experience working as a Post-Graduate Intern at the Center for Athletic Academic Services for the University of Memphis and as an Academic Counselor at the Dick & Glory Sharp Academic Center at Southeastern Louisiana University.
