Shannon Halbritter

Shannon Halbritter was named UNT's Senior Associate AD for Marketing and Fan Engagement in July of 2023.
Halbritter came to UNT following four-plus years at Texas Tech, where she most recently served as Assistant AD for Promotions and Fan Engagement since 2022. In that role, she was tasked with planning, executing, and evaluating marketing plans for promotion and in-game entertainment of multiple sports. She was responsible for developing marketing strategies, objectives, and goals in conjunction with increasing ticket sales and revenue production all while developing and overseeing all marketing budgets including digital ads, musical and halftime entertainment, and all other marketing materials.
Halbritter played a key role in collaborating with all of Texas Tech's external areas. Additionally, she managed four full-time staff along with the department's internship program. She has extensive experience working with both men's and women's basketball including helping both programs set attendance records. Halbritter also played a key role in assisting with the sales of more than 4,000 new 2023 football season tickets through email and digital campaigns.
Halbritter originally joined Texas Tech as assistant director of promotions and fan engagement in 2019.
She also has experience as a fan experience and sales assistant at Kansas State from 2017-19.
Prior to her position at Kansas State, Halbritter worked within the West Virginia University Athletic Marketing Office as a student intern.
A native of Morgantown, West Virginia, Halbritter graduated from WVU in 2017 and earned a master's degree from Kansas State in 2019. She currently lives with her dog, Leia.
