Former North Texas great "Mean" Joe Greene was back on campus Wednesday, taking in the afternoon football practice with current head coach Darrell Dickey. Greene came to Denton in an official capacity as a special assistant for player personnel for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Greene was an All-America defensive tackle at North Texas in the late 1960’s and went on to a standout career with the Steelers where he helped his team win four Super Bowl championships.
