Cross Country Team Kicks Off Season At Bear Relays

The pair finished fifth and recorded the school's best time in the 2-x-6,000-meter relay with a mark of 38:36.2.
Billy Giano and Blair Casey also notched a top-10 finish in the season's first meet. The freshman team finished 10th with a time of 39:37.6.
On the women's side, junior Jill Brennan and senior Cassie Storms led the way for the Mean Green. The veteran duo finished the 2-x-4,000-meter run in 13th place with a time of 30:46.4.
Freshmen Alex Sherwin and Ashley Sanders notched a 19th place finish with a time of 32:28.7, while freshman Michelle Gallegos and senior Jessica Schmidt finished 24th in 33:39.1.
