Cross Country Finishes First And Second at UALR Invitational

The Mean Green men had three top ten finishes, headlined by Senior Frank Ngeno who notched a third place finish with a time of 26:24.35. Following closely behind was sophomore Billy Giano who finished in fifth place with a time of 27:08.95 and senior Josh Rogers who finished in sixth place with a time of 27:21.71.
Freshmen Daniel Holobowicz and Matthew Peters finished within the top 15 out of 37 runners. Holobowicz came in 12th with a time of 28:23.68 while Peters finished in 14th place with a time of 28:30.34.
Bringing up the end of
The men’s total time was 2:17:49.03 making them the victorious team of the meet.
The Mean Green women had two top-ten finishes. Sophomore Michelle Gallegos finished in 6th place with a time of 19:26.35 and following closely behind was senior Jill Brennan, coming in eighth place with a time of 19:43.41.
The women’s team finished the event with a total time of 1:42:02.78, earning them a second place finish.
The Mean Green are back in action Saturday, October 14th at the Chile Pepper Invitational in
