Swimming: Lewis Posts Lifetime Best 200 Fly

LAS CRUCES, N.M.- Brynn Lewis posted her lifetime best time in the 200 yard butterfly, but North Texas fell to New Mexico State and Boise State in a double-dual meet on Friday.
"Conditions were extremely rough today," said North Texas Head Coach Joe Dykstra. "We need to be a lot tougher mentally at tomorrow's session."
New Mexico State outscored the Mean Green 168-75, while the Broncos bested North Texas 176-67.
Brynn Lewis posted a lifetime best 2:11.44 (2:11.94 raw time) in the 200 yard butterfly, finishing fourth against Boise State and New Mexico State.
Angie Dworschack and Hilary Riedmann finished 1-2 in the 1000 yard freestyle against New Mexico State and 2-3 against Boise State. Dworschack posted a 10:33.16 (10:39.76 raw) and Riedmann posted a 10:35.66 (10:41.96 raw).
North Texas returns to the pool Saturday morning at 11 a.m. as they take on New Mexico State and Boise State once again in Las Cruces, N.M.
