White And Adams Advance At The US National Championship

DES MOINES, Iowa - North Texas sprinters Steven White and Alysha Adams both advanced in their opening days at the USA Junior Outdoor Track and Field Championship. White, running in the 400-meter hurdles, ran the best time in the preliminaries of the 22 entries at 52.05 and he advances to the finals tomorrow afternoon.
Adams, running in the 100-meter hurdles, had a time of 13.56 as she moves onto the semifinals tomorrow.
If White can finish in the top 2 tomorrow he will earn a spot onto the World Junior Championship Team and run July 19-25 at Moncton, Canada.
White will run at 3:25 tomorrow and Adams will go off at 1:15.
