Green Gang: Beam Me Up

The heat is getting cranked up on the construction site but so are the pillars and beams on the west side stands. My unofficial count is around 35 beams and pillars are either up, being constructed, or in use.
The beams going up on the west side are for the stands and press box. If you have checked out the zoom feature on the time-lapse camera you can see more activity going on the north side/wing section of the stadium.
Workers are continuing to moisture condition the soils at the field level. Once completed the field level will become a work space for contractors to work off of until it comes time for the field installation.
In the next few days and coming week watch out for more concrete and columns to go up. The site continues to evolve even as I type this blog, I believe another column just went up.
