Green Gang: A Taste Of The Taste Of Dallas

This past weekend North Texas Athletics joined area businesses, restaurants, and entertainment acts at the 24th annual Taste of Dallas. The event takes place on over 150,000 square feet in Fair Park and annually sees attendance above 200,000.
The Mean Green was included in the "Sports Zone" area along with the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, and the Dallas Stars.
The North Texas Dancers, Cheerleaders, and Scrappy distributed promotional items for the upcoming football season and talked with fans about this year's Fouts Field Finale.
The Mean Green Bounce House was also on hand for the kids to enjoy along with the Mean Green Semi, which was available for tours. The bounce house and semi were part of a mock tailgate display aimed at showing patrons what all to expect at Fouts Field this season.
We received tons of enthusiasm from the fans that visited our booth as well interest in the New North Texas Football Stadium
The Taste of Dallas was a great opportunity for North Texas Athletics to reach out to the Dallas area alumni base. We can't wait to participate in the event again.
