Mean Green Sweeps North Texas Invite

DENTON, Texas- North Texas swept the 33^rd Annual North Texas Invitational, besting SMU, Tarleton State and UT-Dallas to win the women's race and besting Tarleton State, UT-Dallas, Paul Quinn and LeTourneau to win the men's race.

North Texas' Ingrid Mallenkopf won the women's race with a time of 18:42, and Sara Dietz finished second with a time of 19:07, giving the Mean Green a sweep of first and second place.

Sallie Anderson finished in 5^th with a time of 20:15, with Elyssa Garcia and Amy Acala rounding out the Mean Green women's finishers with times of 21:27 and 21:43 respectively.

Patrick Strong won the men's race with a time of 24:50. Matthew Russ finished 4^th with a time of 26:29. Adrian Nevarez finished 7^th with a time of 27:46, and Wade Denton finished in 8^th with a time of 28:15. Nick Mahoy and Eric Thompson round out the North Texas men with times of 29:24 and 30:09 respectively.
