Track Heads North To J.D. Martin Invitational

DENTON, Texas - Mean Green track & field will continue the indoor season at the J.D. Martin Invitational on Saturday from the campus of the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Okla.
Senior hurdler Alysha Adams currently has the top-time in the Sun Belt and No. 10 fastest time in the nation in the 60-meter hurdles and will be looking to improve on her mark of 8.34, which was good enough for second at the Texas A&M Conference Challenge last week.
NOTES
Members from nine schools as well as several other athletes that will be participating unattached will begin competition at 10 a.m. inside OU's Mosier Indoor Facility.
The J.D. Martin invitational marks the first of three events that the Mean Green will be competing at Oklahoma, including one more indoor meet (Feb. 19) and one outdoor meet (Apr. 16).
Some of the team's that will be competing in the event are Oklahoma, Oral Roberts, SMU, Texas-Arlington, Tulsa, Oklahoma State and Central Oklahoma. Admission to the meet is free of charge to the public.
