Track & Field Cancels Trip To Texas Tech Invite

DENTON, Texas - North Texas track & field has cancelled its trip to the Texas Tech Invitational scheduled for today due to the inclement weather in the Denton area head coach Rick Watkins announced Friday morning.
The Mean Green have been unable to practice due to the icy conditions that began Tuesday and stretched through Friday, when even more wintry precipitation fell in the area.
North Texas will be back in action next Friday and Saturday, Feb 11-12, when it heads to Ames, Ia., for the Iowa State Classic. As always, check MeanGreenSports.com for updates.
