Green Gang: Spring Practice Almost Here

Spring football practice is just over 48 hours away from starting and we thought we would run down a few housekeeping items before everything gets underway Wednesday night at Fouts Field. First things first, the practice schedule has one last tweak in terms of the times. April 1 and April 8 are now at 6:00 a.m, moving from 3:30 p.m. The entire schedule, times, dates, etc, is posted below.
Now for the really good news. As Coach Mac has said before, practices are wide open. That means at the AC fields you can come inside the gates, yes they are open to everyone who wants to watch. All you have to do is stand between the practice fields in the middle, which will be easy to see and find. At Fouts Field you may also watch from the stands or come down and watch from the track.
The only thing you will have to do is check in. The Eagle Angels will have a table set up outside the AC gate and Gate 1 at Fouts Field for each practice. Just tell them you're there to watch practice, they will give you a name tag and you're in.
Also scrimmage days are April 2 and April 9, both Saturday at 9 a.m. at Fouts Field. We will be live chatting from both of those so mark that on your calendar as well.
The Spring game, set for April 16 at 1 p.m. at C.H. Collins will be broadcast on 88.1 FM KNTU with George Dunham and Hank Dickenson.
