Men's XC Takes Third at UTA Season Opener

DENTON, Texas (9/08/12) - The Mean Green men's cross country team traveled to Arlington Saturday to compete in the UT Arlington Season Opener at Vandergriff Park.
The Mean Green captured a third place finish behind freshman Bryce McAndrew who finished 14th overall with a time of 15:37.
Results
Sophomore Brad Fullman (16:34) led the rest of the Mean Green finishing 16th followed by Chris Corbett (16:53) at 17th, Kevin Haverstick (17:18) at 18th and Morgan Oats (17:52) at 19th.
UTA took first place on the men's side with 15 points, followed by Baylor with 41 points and North Texas with 84 points.
North Texas cross country will return to action when they host the Ken Garland Invitational Saturday, Sept. 15.
