The North Texas cross-country teams finished in the top five at the Chile Pepper Festival this Saturday.
The men's side was a fourth out of 14 team finish, while the women's team finished in fifth out of 15 teams.
The Mean Green had two top twenty finishes in the women's 5K. Jo Adams led the way with an 18th place finish (17:49.3), and behind her in 20th was teammate Charlotte Wilson (17:52.4).
Crossing the finish line first for the men was sophomore Troy Taylor, completing his 8K with a 29th place finish and time of 25:24.7.
Up next for the Mean Green will host the Conference USA Championship on Nov. 2.
