Dominique Drayden Named C-USA Field Athlete Of The Week

DENTON - Senior jumper Dominique Drayden earned Conference USA male Field Athlete of the Week honors for his performance at the LSU Purple Tiger Invitational, announced by the league office Tuesday.
The Dallas native started the indoor season with a first place finish in the men's triple jump with a career-best mark of 14.86 meters. Drayden already jumped better than his sixth-place finish at the Conference USA championship (14.83 meters) last season. Drayden's mark of 14.86m currently leads the C-USA in triple jump.
At the Purple Tiger Invitational, Drayden also took part in the men's 60-meter dash finishing 29th in the preliminaries.
