A Record Four On Cross Country All-Academic Team

IRVING – Four North Texas student-athletes were selected to the 2018 InTouch Credit Union Conference USA Men's and Women's Cross Country All-Academic Teams as Jack Beaumont, Florian Lussy, Cassidy Adams, and Rea Iseli each earned the honor, announced by league office Thursday.
The Mean Green achieved the highest number of student-athletes within C-USA to be named to the team. This season's total nearly equals the program's previous cumulative total of five since UNT joined C-USA in 2013.
Beaumont, a sophomore from Winton, New Zealand, has accumulated a 3.909 grade-point average as a pre-business major. Lussy, a recreation, event & sport management major with a 3.857 GPA, is a junior from Oderdorf, Switzerland. Lussy is also a two-time C-USA Cross Country Male Athlete of the Week in 2018.
Adams is a graduate student from Justin, Texas, with a 3.931 GPA while working towards a Master of Business Administration. Tauffelen, Switzerland, native Iseli has a 4.0 GPA in interdisciplinary studies as a graduate student. Iseli earned C-USA Cross Country Female Athlete of the Week honors earlier this season.
This is the first such honor for Beaumont, Lussy, Adams, and Iseli.
Mean Green Cross Country competes at the C-USA Championships Saturday in Boca Raton, Florida.
