Track & Field Impresses In Classroom

DENTON – The North Texas men's and women's track and field program recorded remarkable academic success during the Spring 2020 semester with an overall grade point average of 3.52.
The Mean Green had 40 student-athletes earn a perfect 4.0 GPA to receive recognition on the President's List, while 28 obtained a 3.5-3.99 GPA for Dean's List accolades.
Within track and field, the women's cross country team posted the highest GPA with a 3.801, and women's track and field had the highest number earn a 4.0 with 16 student-athletes.

Men's cross country: 3.777 GPA; Six President's List, Four Dean's List
Women's cross country: 3.801 GPA; Eight President's List, Three Dean's List
Men's track and field: 3.47 GPA; 10 President's List, Eight Dean's List
Women's track and field: 3.57 GPA; 16 President's List, 13 Dean's List
