Ashmore Honored as Athlete of the Week

DALLAS – Bailey Ashmore was selected as the Conference USA Female Indoor Athlete of the Week as announced by the league office Wednesday.
Ashmore registered a season-best 4.01 meters in pole vault at the Red Raider Invitational hosted by Texas Tech Jan. 23. The redshirt senior recorded the best mark in Conference USA this year while competing against a stacked field that included Texas Tech, Miami and Oklahoma.
This is the first such honor in North Texas history.
