Bouchard Receives Spirit Of Service Award

DALLAS – Caleb Bouchard of North Texas cross country was honored with the Conference USA Fall Spirit of Service Award on Wednesday. The award honors 14 of the league's student-athletes with significant community service endeavors, excellent academic standing and notable athletic achievements. The Spirit of Service award is presented three times throughout the season, with Wednesday's honorees representing men's and women's cross country and football.
Bouchard, a junior, boasts a perfect 4.0 GPA as a Biomedical Engineering major and Math and Biological Studies minor. The SAAC member serves on the group's community service committee, is a leader in Athletes in Action and involved in planning the school's Week of Service in the spring. Bouchard is a five-time North Texas President's List honoree and two-time recipient of both the league's Academic Medal and Commissioner's Honor Roll.
The Trophy Club native earned Third Team All-Conference in 2020 and came in 15th in 24:58.29 at the C-USA Championships. Bouchard opened the season with the title in the 4-mile at UTA Invite in 20:11.1.
