
Volleyball drops match to UTEP in regular season finale

EL PASO — North Texas struggled to get its offense going as they were beaten in straight sets (14-25, 15-25, 15-25) by the UTEP Miners on Sunday afternoon.
Sarah Haeussler led all North Texas players with nine kills, while Rhett Robinson picked up just six. Haeussler had a .467 attack percentage in the contest, which was a match high.Â
Avery McCrillis added five kills of her own, while Andrea Owens contributed two.
Kaliegh Skopal led the setting effort for the North Texas offense with 21 assists. The Mean Green had two players finish with double figure digs on the defensive side of the ball, led by 14 from Aleeyah Galdeira. Skopal also posted 11 digs.
