Spring Walk-On Information

DENTON – Any prospective student-athletes that are interested in potentially walking on to the North Texas football program can express that interest by providing the following information to Football Operations Coordinator George Matsakis via email (george.matsakis@unt.edu):

UNT identification number
High School Attended
Classification (How many semesters you've been enrolled post-high school graduation)
Position (Please list only one, there are some positions we are not looking to add to our roster at this time)
Though there is no guarantee at this time that we will be hosting a formal tryout ahead of spring practice, we want to provide the opportunity for interested parties to get in touch with our staff.
Interested players must currently be a full-time student enrolled in at least 12 hours at the University of North Texas, must have played high school football and all candidates are subject to a full background check.
Please submit your interest before the end of the day on Thursday, Feb. 11.
