LEXINGTON, Ky. - Senior diver Meghan Miller brought an end to her North Texas diving career at the 2021 NCAA Zone D Diving Championships as the Woodbury, Minnesota native placed 29th in the prelim event with a score of 207.90 on one-meter.
"Today may not have been Meghan's best day but she finished her career facing the next level of diving competition," diving coach Mark Murdock said. "Meghan has had an outstanding senior season as she was a finalist on all three boards at Conference and competed in the NCAA Zone Championships."
Miller finishes her career ranking top-five all-time in all three diving disciplines; third all-time in one-meter (280.73), fourth all-time in three-meter (278.70) while holding the school record in platform (208.65).
"I'm very proud of all Meghan has accomplished during her senior season," Murdock added. "She was able to handle all that this year dished out and continued to stay focused on her goals. Even though she's done, Meghan has helped shape this team for the future and I am very proud."
Miller's completion at the Zone Championships ultimately brings an end to the 2020-2021 North Texas swimming and diving season. The Mean Green finished with a team dual record of 2-2 after back-to-back wins over Incarnate Word (167-132, 1/15/21) and Little Rock (178-99, 2/6/21).
