Record Number Named to C-USA Academic List

Conference USA Commissioner Judy MacLeod announced that 218 North Texas student-athletes have been named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll for the 2020-21 academic year. Student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better to be honored.
The 218 UNT honorees is nearly an 11 percent increase from the 197 that were named to the group last year, and the most ever named to the prestigious list. The 218 on the list represents 64 percent of all Mean Green student-athletes. In all, 3,501 Conference USA student-athletes were on the list, which is also an 11 percent increase from last year.
This is the first academic award list published by Conference USA for the 2020-21 year, with the Commissioner's Academic Medal award being announced later this week. Student-athletes with a 3.75 GPA are eligible for that award.
