T&F to Compete in Nine Events at NCAA Prelims

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – North Texas track and field qualified in nine events for the 2021 NCAA West Preliminaries May 26-29 hosted by Texas A&M University.
The Mean Green men will be represented in five running events and three field events, while the women will compete in the 4x100-meter relay.
Karlington Anunagba (100-meter dash), Davonye Jones (200), Jack Beaumont (steeplechase), Michael Gonzalez (pole vault), Karl Sralla (discus) and Zion Hill (javelin) will contend along with the men's 4x100 and 4x400 relays for UNT.
The qualifiers out of the West and East regions will compete in the NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships held June 9-12 in Eugene, Oregon.
