Mean Green Dominates Arkansas State

FORT WORTH – Mean Green Tennis dominated the court at a neutral site in Fort Worth winning 6-1 over Arkansas State.
North Texas won all three doubles matches and five singles matches. Junior Kexuan Zhou and freshman Jasmine Adams each won their respective doubles matches and won their singles matches only falling in one set. Adams paired up with senior Lucie Devier for a hard fought doubles match but came away with the point.
The Mean Green will be back in action Friday as they face New Mexico State at home followed by a Sunday match against Lamar also at home.

What are you most excited for going into your senior season?
"I want to compete hard, have my best record of matches, and make a difference my senior year" Maria Ponomareva said. "I am excited to get my degree and graduate!"
I want to enjoy my time a lot, win a lot" Lucie Devier said. "I want the team to be happy, I want to workout, and really just enjoy!"
