UNT Earns 71 C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medals

DALLAS, Texas – North Texas had 71 student-athletes receive the Commissioner's Academic Medal, Conference USA announced on Friday. Individuals earned this distinct honor by notching a 3.75 GPA during the 2021-22 academic year.
The Mean Green saw an increase with 15 (21%) more student-athletes earn the award from last year's 56. A total of 1,171 (21.9%) student-athletes earned the award across the league.
North Texas' women's swimming and diving had a school-best 12 receive the honor. Mean Green men's track and field led the men's side with seven.
