DENTON, Texas - Karlington Anunagba finished in 22nd place to close his season Friday at the 2022 NCAA West Preliminary Rounds at John McDonnell Field in Fayetteville, Ark.
Anunagba clocked a time of 10.31 to place seventh in his heat and 22nd overall in the men's 100 meters. The junior from Lagos, Nigeria, previously recorded the fifth-best time of the first round (10.23) to advance to Friday's quarterfinal.
Thursday in the women's javelin, Makayla Roy concluded a decorated freshman season with a 31st-place finish, recording a throw of 145-3 (44.29m).
The West Preliminary Rounds closes the 2022 campaign for North Texas Track & Field.
