New for 2022 at Apogee

DENTON – UNT Athletics is looking forward to an exciting 2022 season and the Mean Green Family returning to Apogee Stadium. With the home opener with SMU approaching quickly on Saturday, Sept. 3, here are some new features, changes, and updates to be aware of this season.
"Our staff has made it a priority to constantly seek feedback and look for new ways to improve the overall game day experience for our fans," Vice President and Director of Athletics Wren Baker said. "We are excited about these new offerings for 2022 and can't wait to welcome the Mean Green Family to Apogee this fall."

TICKETS
Self-service ticket scanning pedestals have been added to multiple gates at Apogee Stadium for improved ease of entry and a contactless experience.

CONCESSIONS
The Under the Wing Pub makes its Apogee Stadium debut on Sept. 3. In the space under the wing on the north end of the stadium fans over the age of 21 will be able to enjoy beer, wine, and liquor complete with TV's and yard games.
The concession stand located nearest Gate 4 and the student section has been re-branded as 1521 Craft House and will offer eight new craft beers plus favorites Coors Light and Dos Equis.
UNITY PLAZA
North Texas Athletics has announced the construction of a Unity Plaza adjacent to the athletic center honoring trailblazers Dr. Leon King and Abner Haynes that will be completed this fall. More info: https://northtex.as/3QLksmG
FINAL SEASON IN C-USA
The 2022 season is UNT's final football season in Conference USA as the Mean Green will transition to The American Athletic Conference in July 2023.
INSTAGRAMMABLE LOCATIONS
Take a group photo or a selfie at our new Instagram-friendly locations inside Gate 3 and Gate 4. Share on social media with the hashtags #UNT, #GoMeanGreen and #GMG and you might be featured on the Apogee Stadium videoboard.
NEW UNIFORMS
The Mean Green will debut three new uniforms this season and will have the opportunity to feature more than 80 new combinations.
MEAN GREEN GEAR
The team shop at Apogee Stadium has been revamped for this season thanks to UNT's long-time partnership with Voertman's. Check it out at Gate 2 for all your game day apparel needs.
RADIO COVERAGE

"WE MEAN BUSINESS"
North Texas Athletics launched the "We MEAN Business" campaign, targeting Denton and surrounding areas businesses that want to provide opportunities for employees and families to experience a Mean Green game. More info: https://northtex.as/3CgZl7a
SEASON TICKET GIFT
Season ticket holders each receive a 20 oz. UNT-branded tumbler that can be picked up at the Gate 2 ticket office through the September 10th game vs. Texas Southern.

TICKETS

Improved Mean Green Tickets Online account functionality:
- Patrons will have the opportunity to use an "Add All" button to download all their tickets to an event (up to ten tickets). Apple iPhone users should use the Safari browser to Add All to the Apple Wallet and android users should use Google Chrome or Firefox browsers to Add All to the Google Wallet app.
- Ticket transfer process has been enhanced with the ability to add a name along with the phone number or email when transferring tickets. This, along with the added functionality of being able to view completed transfer history in your account, will help you confirm who has accepted their tickets and parking for a Mean Green game day!
- Ticket transfer acceptance limits have also been removed after previously being capped at one week to accept a transfer.
