
T&F Returns to Lubbock for Texas Tech Open

DENTON, Texas – UNT Track & Field will head back to Lubbock for the Texas Tech Open & Multis Friday and Saturday at the Sports Performance Center.

Last week in Lubbock, KeAyla Dove broke her own school record to win the women's shot put title and earn the Conference USA Women's Field Athlete of the Week award. In addition to Dove's performance, Kendahl Tucker took third in her collegiate debut in the 400 meters, and four other UNT student-athletes made field event finals.

In the debut of the USTFCCCA NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Regional TFRI rankings, the Mean Green women's team is ranked 17th in the South Central region, while the men's team is 28th.

Action from the Sports Performance Center in Lubbock will be streamed live on ESPN+, with coverage beginning Friday at 3 p.m CT. Live results will be provided by PrimeTime Timing. Field events begin at 3 p.m. CT, while running events get going at 4 p.m. CT with the women's 60m hurdles first round. The Mean Green will be competing against 27 other teams at Texas Tech.
