
Volleyball Records Five-Set Loss

DENTON, Texas – UNT volleyball fell 3-2 against UTSA at the North Texas Volleyball Center on Sunday.
The Mean Green (11-11, 5-4) attempted to pull off a reverse sweep (22-25, 15-25, 25-17, 25-18, 10-15) after UTSA (8-11, 1-7) won the first two sets of the match.
Kamryn Scroggins notched her second consecutive double-double with 24 assists and 13 digs. She added a season-best three aces and one kill.
Aryn Johnson led with 12 kills and was trailed by nine kills apiece from Coco Gillett, Treyaunna Rush and Anyse Smith.
Sh'Diamond Holly tallied a season high seven blocks and added five kills, two digs and one assist.
Alexa Washington registered 11 assists and three digs to set new season-best marks over four sets played.
Aleeyah Galdeira posted a match-high 24 digs along with five assists.
