Hill places 20th in men’s javelin; Anunagba takes 21st in men’s 100m semifinals
DENTON, Texas – Zion Hill placed 20th in the men's javelin final, and Karlington Anunagba finished 21st in the semifinals of the men's 100 meters to represent North Texas Track & Field Wednesday at the 2023 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, Texas.
Hill recorded a throw of 218-3 (66.53m) in flight one of the men's javelin final, the eighth-best mark of the fight. The senior from Bridgetown, Barbados, completed the season with a 20th-place finish overall.Â

In the men's 100 meters, Anunagba took seventh in the second semifinal with a time of 10.20, falling short of the final with a 21st-place finish in the semis.
The Mean Green will wrap up action Thursday night as KeAyla Dove competes for the national championship in the women's shot put at 9:30 p.m. CT.
