TULSA, Oklahoma — The UNT soccer team is back on the road Sunday as they face Oral Roberts at the Case Soccer Complex in Tulsa.
Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. CT. The game will be streamed on the Summit League Network or can be followed with live stats.
North Texas is 8-1-1 all-time versus ORU and enters Sunday having won four in a row over the Golden Eagles. They last met last season with the Mean Green coming away with a 4-0 victory. Then UNT freshman Kat Burnell scored a hat trick in the four-goal victory. She scored all three of her goals over a 12-minute time span. The Mean Green have not conceded a goal to Oral Roberts since 2012.
A win Sunday at Oral Roberts would be UNT's third road victory of the year. Last season, North Texas didn't win its third road match until Sept. 25.
Sophomore Summer Brown heads into Sunday's match with four goals on the year. She had four all of last year and was named to the league's all-freshman team.
Following Sunday's match, North Texas will have nearly a week off as they return home to face Incarnate Word on Sept. 8 and then another home match on Sept. 10 against UTRGV, which will close out the non-conference portion of the Mean Green's schedule.
