
Volleyball Sweeps Tulane, Extends Win Streak to Four

NEW ORLEANS – UNT volleyball collected a 3-0 win over Tulane at Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse on Saturday.
The Mean Green (8-7, 2-0) extended its three-set sweep streak to four matches (25-19, 25-21, 25-23) and remained unbeaten in American Athletic Conference play. North Texas outpaced the Green Wave (4-10, 0-2) in kills, attacks, hitting percentage, assists, aces and blocks in the match.
Truli Levy (.600) and Sh'Diamond Holly (.500) led in attack efficiency as they registered seven kills on 10 attempts and eight kills on 12 attempts, respectively. Holly paces The American with a .450 attack percentage on the year.
Jayde Harris and Anyse Smith led the Mean Green with nine kills each while Ceci Harness and Kamryn Scroggins tallied 18 assists apiece.
North Texas recorded 10 total blocks for the third double-digit output of the season. Levy led with four blocks while Smith and Holly each posted three.
Libero Aleeyah Galdeira was the match leader with 17 digs and eclipsed 200 for the fifth consecutive season.

UNT returns to Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse for its second road meeting versus Tulane at 2 p.m. on Sunday. The conference match will be streamed on ESPN+.
