Volleyball Visits Tulane for AAC Showdown

NEW ORLEANS – UNT volleyball travels for a pair of American Athletic Conference matches at Tulane beginning on Saturday at noon. Both matches will be streamed on ESPN+ from Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse.
The Mean Green (7-7, 1-0) defeated Florida Atlantic 3-0 on Wednesday for its first conference win in The American. West division rival Tulane (4-9, 0-1) dropped its league opener 2-3 at USF on Wednesday.
Sh'Diamond Holly led with 12 kills and three blocks as North Texas recorded its third consecutive sweep. Ceci Harness collected 24 assists while Aleeyah Galdeira registered 13 digs in the three-set victory over FAU.
Holly leads The American with a .446 hitting percentage and is currently 33 points ahead of Wichita State middle Natalie Foster.
North Texas leads the all-time series 4-2 over the Green Wave. The programs last met as members of Conference USA in a 3-1 UNT win on Nov. 3, 2013.
